The Ackerman Family has been ministering in word and song since 1976. The current group consists of evangelist Rick A. Ackerman and his sixteen year old daughter Sarah. Rick's parents Otto and Shirley Ackerman sing with the Ackerman Family when they are down in Tenn. or AL. Rick's parents are the original founders of the Ackerman Family. The genre of music that is sung by the Ackerman Family is a mix of Southern and Country Gospel with a little bit of Worship also.
