Bio

Craig Kruse sings inspirational songs and hymns to the glory of God. His purpose in ministry is to share the love of Jesus Christ through his music.

He currently attends Southside Christian Church in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

In the mid 1970s, Craig was a singer in a local rock and roll band in Des Moines, Iowa, and sang solos in church on Sundays.

At that time, he felt that God was calling him to do more for Him, but he felt inadequate and self-conscious about his abilities. Craig was constantly finding excuses… a wife and family to take care of, a new job, a new home, a new community… on and on and on… finally, over time, he no longer felt that calling.

Then, in 2003, Craig and his wife, Annette, started working with a concert ministry at their church. As they worked to bring in various Gospel groups, he started to feel the calling again. The more time he spent working with those groups, the stronger the call became.

Finally, in the fall of 2003, Craig borrowed a sound system and began to put together a program. He started out by singing one song, then two or three, as an "opening act" for some of the groups that they were bringing in. He has shared the stage with several local and regional groups, such as Grateful Heart from Omaha, Nebraska, Living Sacrifice from Kirksville, Missouri, Emmaus Road from Lincoln, Nebraska, Spoken 4 from Branson, Missouri and also with the Blackwood Gospel Quartet from Knoxville, Tennessee.

Craig’s style varies from Southern Gospel to Light Country to Inspirational to Big Band, and his smooth sound will soothe and delight the audience.

Craig has recorded two CDs, and will have both available for purchase following his concerts.

Craig does not charge a set fee for his music ministry, trusting that God will provide for his needs through a free will offering from the audience and/or an amount decided on by the hosting church.
