Greer GOSPEL SINGER/RAPPER/SONGWRITER/ PRODUCER _______________________________________________________ BIO Born in El Dorado, Arkansas, Sernerick J.Greer is on a mission to spread the word of God.” So many Fans, Church Members, and reviewers of his work are saying that he is the next Kirk Franklin or better. Raised in a small town that clings to the west leg of El Dorado, called Strong. Sernerick was raised in a family blessed with spiritual values and voices from God. It seems only natural that today, Sernerick is a promising a songwriter/singer/rap artist within the Gospel community. God never said it would be easy though. The road wasn’t always as straight as one would portray it to be. There were curves, unseen construction, stumbling blocks and consequential lessons along the journey. Sernericks.. musical career started while he was still in high school, recording his first underground tape with his uncle and cousin. The song was actually a Gospel track called “Without you Lord.” Sernerick was now an official artist, but something was missing. He had to come up with a Pseudonymous, so he started calling himself HISYDE:01. The “:01” meaning, original. The music he was doing began to get vulgar, more hard core, and disrespectful. As a Couple of years, and songs passed, the street fame was building, girls were plentiful, but For some reason he was unhappy. The very outgoing youngster that everyone knew as HISYDE:01, was changing. Now with a baby girl, and other kids looking up to him, Sernerick became uncomfortable with the message he was projecting and wanted to start doing more positive music. But he didn’t understand why the changing process was so hard. After numerous calls and flirts with death, Sernerick returned to his to his first love, which was God. He started reading the Word and decided to become a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church, where he later got SAVED. Amen!! Where, he was under the direction of (GMWOA) musician Sammuel Bennet. Trusting in the Lord, he decide to use his talent that he was blessed with toUplift The kingdom of God. Feeding off of the anointing he received and his own testimony, Sernerick wrote his first Gospel song, titled “Dedicated,” which will be on his upcoming Album. (“LED BY THE SPIRIT”) The more positive message in his music made him feel like the chains that had him by the ankles were taken off. Amen!!! Sernerick began to serve God and exercise his gift by presenting his Musical Ministry at churches, festivals, conferences, and other organizations. The more he grows in the lord, and lets GOD have his way, his gift that he was blessed with only gets better.
